Cody's proposal was so sweet...I have to share :)

We were hanging out on a Friday night (6/1) and he was working on homework (yes, he studies constantly) and I was reading. I ended up falling asleep and taking a 2 hour nap. When I woke up, it was about 11pm. I was so tired and just wanted to go to bed. I went and took my contacts out and noticed that Cody was following me. I told him I was heading to bed and he said he would just tuck me in and then head home. I went into my room and pulled back the covers. To my surprise, there was a note taped to my pillow in beautiful font that said "Sydney, will you marry me?"

I turned around and Cody was on one knee with the ring box open! He then asked the all-important question, "will you marry me?" I, of course, said yes and the rest is history!! J/K, he then proceeded to tell me his original proposal plan, which was supposed to happen the day before...

He had wanted to paint in glow-in-the-dark paint on my ceiling, "Will you marry me?" and then turn off the lights when I was about to go to sleep and I would see it. However, when he painted it on my ceiling while I was at work one day, it showed clear as day with the lights on. He then went to Lowe's to get white paint to paint over it, but had to paint so many coats that it was very obvious. He then went back to Lowe's and got texture dry wall mud. He put that on the ceiling and everything was back to normal. Haha, poor thing! I think it still turned out great and was so us :)
